The Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) extends our sincere appreciation to all school board members for the work you do for public education in our state. Each year in March, we set aside a special week to honor the work of Georgia’s school boards. We are constantly amazed by the tremendous civic responsibility that our school board members fulfill for each community in our state.

GSBA is proud to serve the state’s 180 locally elected boards of education. GSBA has developed numerous ways to assist local systems. Since 1951, the Georgia School Boards Association has worked to ensure excellence in governance of the state’s public school districts through leadership training, advocacy and specialized services.
