GSBA in partnership with the Georgia Vision Project’s Spark campaign are sponsoring its third annual high school student video contest for member districts across the state. This year’s theme is “Community Support: What Does It Look Like?” Winners will be recognized at the GSBA/GSSA Annual Conference and the first, second, and third prize winners will be awarded more for their schools video production program!
Because many of our south and middle Georgia counties were affected by Hurricane Michael, we’ve extended the Deadline to Monday, October 22nd. We are looking forward to seeing the creative projects our Georgia High School public school students have done. For those schools who’ve already sent in your videos and forms, thank you so much and we truly are grateful. If you need any additional information about the video contest, please click here.
The GSBA Awards Committee will meet at GSBA on November 1, 2018 to review the Beacon Awards and the Student Video Awards nominees. The nominees will be notified of the Award Committee’s selections the week of November 5.
