GA education officials to attend /GSSA Annual Conf.& Vision Summit

November 27, 2017- Approximately 700 local school board members and superintendents are expected to attend the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA), Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA) 2017 Annual Conference, Vision Summit (December 1-2) and pre-conference training activities (November 29-30) at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta.

Featured keynote speakers include: Bill Curry, NFL player, coach, author, speaker and leader; John Couch, Vice President of Education, Apple; and Richard Woods, Georgia’s School Superintendent among various other speakers and presenters.

During the preconference training activities, school board members and superintendents will attend one of several workshops where they will obtain state-mandated training.
