It has been a challenging start to the 2020-2021 school year, and the GSBA Board of Directors and the staff at GSBA applaud you for the extraordinary leadership each of you have displayed to safely meet the needs of public-school students all over Georgia. As a result of the impacts of COVID-19, never before have we at GSBA recognized more the importance of training, fresh new ideas and networking opportunities that our conferences offer.
This year, out of an abundance of caution for you, GSBA is excited for the opportunity to safely offer the GSBA/GSSA Annual Conference virtually using an engaging internet-based platform. This platform is designed to closely mirror the Annual Conference from the main stage to the breakout sessions and even networking opportunities. This virtual program allows for more interactive, engaging sessions and facilitates online recording of both sessions and workshops, ensuring access for attendees to review all sessions beyond the actual conference.
GSBA and GSSA recognize the challenges of today’s climate regarding live events and we intend to deliver experienced speakers, relevant sessions, exciting giveaways and even a few surprises in store.
We also are aware that budgets are tight and sincerely hope that while temporarily we are not in person, we will soon be meeting together once again. Your health and safety are the highest priority and we look forward to a fun and productive virtual meeting.
