Cornelius Ball

Cornelius Ball is a dedicated public servant and experienced technology and logistics leader. He has been serving as a School Board member in rural South Georgia since 2014 and as a District 14 Director for the Georgia School Boards Association (GSBA) for three years. His commitment to education is further demonstrated by his role as the Chairman of the South-Education Rural Task Force.

In addition to his educational roles, Cornelius contributes to various committees and organizations. He serves on the Governmental Operations Committee, the Audit Committee, and the Board of Directors for EBoard Solutions, a technology company wholly owned by GSBA. His expertise and leadership have also led him to be chosen by the President of GSBA to serve on the Executive Committee.

In his professional career, Cornelius has amassed 19 years of experience in operations, technology, process improvement, and talent development implementation for government entities. His diverse experience enables him to resolve problems and create solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Cornelius is committed to utilizing his broad knowledge base to assist with overcoming barriers that impede success. Whether it’s developing a sound strategy, identifying technology infrastructure needs, or implementing effective management or operations processes, he is ready to assist state agencies and educational systems in achieving their goals.

About the District

The Turner County School District is based in Ashburn, Georgia in Turner County. It serves the communities of Ashburn, Rebecca, and Sycamore and has one elementary school, one middle school, one high school, and one specialty school.
