District 8 Director
Nick Ellis – District 8 Director, serves as Chairman of the Wayne County Board of Education. He has served on the Wayne County Board since 2015. Mr. Ellis began serving the Wayne County School System immediately after graduating high school in 2006 as a student mentor, booster supporter and substitute teacher. Today he is still an active student mentor and generates support for students throughout the community. His favorite quote is “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” – Nelson Mandela
