President Elect
John Noah Jackson was first elected to the Board of Education in 2008 and since that time he served as chair from 2010 – 2014 and now again in 2022. During that time, he has served on the Finance Committee, Personnel Committee, and Transportation and Facilities Committee. Additionally, he has represented the school board on the Baldwin County Charter System Foundation of Excellence; the Baldwin County Early Learning Center Policy Council; a GSBA legislative liaison and he served as a member of Governor Nathan Deal’s 2015 Education Reform Commission. John earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Georgia College and State University in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Georgia College and State University in 2011. He is currently employed as Director of Parking and Transportation at Georgia College and State University. John married his sweetheart Rachel in 2011 and they have been blessed with three adorable children: Eli, Lila, and Della.
